About HOUSEFED, Assam

As a part of the Cooperative housing movement in India and with a mission to fulfill the desire of the countless common citizens to own a wholesome house, Assam State Cooperative Housing Finance Society Ltd. (HOUSEFED) was born on 27th March, 1978, registered under the Assam Co-operative Societies Act, 1949. The name was subsequently changed to “Assam State Co-operative Housing Federation Ltd. (HOUSEFED)” on 22nd June 2005. HOUSEFED with its headquarters at Guwahati is under the administrative control of Cooperation Department, Government of Assam and is affiliated to the National Cooperative Housing Federation of India (NCHF), New Delhi.
