Leadership
The Managing Director serves as HOUSEFED's Chief Executive Officer.
The Managing Director is a Senior Grade Officer of the Assam Civil Service, sent on deputation or attachment to HOUSEFED. As Member Secretary of the Board of Directors, the MD executes Board decisions and looks after the routine operation of the organisation. A full-time Secretary, deputed or attached from the office of the Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Assam, assists the Managing Director. The functioning of HOUSEFED, its Chairman, Managing Director, and Secretary is governed by the Bye-Law.
